YESTERDAY My story began in 1998 when I decided to bought my first collie; surely I wasn’t a breed-expert, anyway I was lucky and found in a little kennel a great sable male puppy son of a Great Britain’s import stud dog and of a broad bitch out of 2 reproducer champions. Niky – better known as Aiace Ultimatum – was also our first show dog and he gain in short time his JW. In 2000 we bought by “della Cambianella” kennel another male, a tricolour son of a Great Britain’s Stud Dog too and mother was a great broad bitch of her kennel, Vivaldinero della Cambianella (aka Athos) nowaday is our top winning rough. In 2002 finally comes our first bitch: a really lovely bluemerle called Chanelbleu della Cambianella; as the firsts two she gain her International Champion title and not only. In a special Autumn’s day my dreams comed true and Massimo Rebonato gave me Balletdancer in black del Castelgavone: Cady immediately attracted interest of Judges and breeders, at the tender age of 15th she was BIS Puppy, BIS young, BIS in collie club shows and BOG all these results were never awarded to a smooth collie before here in Italy! Meanwhile my dogs crew in popularity, I attended some handling and grooming course hosted by world famous handlers and groomers, soon I started to show friend’s collies and time by time other breeds.
TODAY Actually all my roughs are retired by shows, Cady stop her career in Italy (here she can’t win nothing that she jet has) and I’m taking most of my time to assist a professional handler in his job.
TOMORROW I hope to start soon my work as breeder and to learn how much is possible on show dogs handling and grooming. |
